Bus Stop Ministry. This outreach opportunity provides welcome snacks and essential items to riders i.e., hats/gloves in the winter. Ministry times: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 11:30-1:30, Massillon Transit Center, 227 Tommy Henrich Dr. NW.
Sonshine Band brings worship to local nursing home residents once a month. The one-hour experience includes hymns, scripture, poems, and a devotional thought from God’s word. You will find them on the 1st Sabbath, 2:00-3:00, Meadow Wind Healthcare Center, 300-23rd St. NE, 44646.
MC Choir. Have a heart for music? Music is an experience of the heart that touches hearts, deepens faith, and glorifies Jesus. Weekly rehearsals culminate in special music once a month during the academic year, and are held Tuesdays, 7: 15-8:00 p.m., following weekly Bible Study.
Kids’ Bible Club is a weekly interactive Vacation Bible School experience, engaging children with Jesus and one another. Community outreach activities include Funfest, Light Up Downtown, National Night Out, and a week long Vacation Bible School in the summer.
Young Adult Ministry. This ministry focuses on faith-building and faith-sharing, rooted in scripture and our fundamental beliefs. Essential questions, honest dialogue, interactive opportunities, and mentoring promoting community, discipleship, and a lifelong commitment to Jesus, aligning with our mission: “Connecting others to a Jesus-centered life that offers health, healing, and hope while growing the church young.
Celebration Team. This ministry organizes family outreach activites year-round including themed fellowship meals each Sabbath, which are open to the community from 1:00-2:00 each week. Church socials like game nights, and a “Be Cool at the Pool” Party, are a few of the “looked forward to” events. Additionally they assist and meet family needs/requests for special celebration: weddings, birthdays, baby showers, funerals, baptisms.
Healthy U. This ministry focuses on health and safety. Included topics of interest focus on mental, physical, and spiritual health, including participation in community health fairs with area hospitals and faith-based organizations.
